A Shark's Tale

  1. This is really interesting Charlie Ka Pai! When I went to an aquarium in Sydney once we also learned that Sharks can sense the heart beats of fish which I suppose is through the electric currents, and they can sense if a fish is sick so they attack the weaker ones as they are easier prey and to put them out of their misery. This is also why sharks get confused and attack humans because obviously if you see a shark your heart rate would rise and the shark mistakes you for a sick fish. Sharks are definitely misunderstood creatures and it is really cool you have learned more about them and why humans are the real threat.

  2. While sharks are not my favourite creatures, I have learnt a little more about them after reading your responses, Charlie. You clearly have the skills to find information in text.

  3. I have only just read your Shark's Tale and it is excellent! White Sharks always get a "bad press" because they look so ugly with all those big teeth, and they can be dangert, but not to swim with!ous. However there are far more dangerous things in the world than a white shark. Riding your bike to school can be dangerous! Animals like sharks only attack us because they think we are their enemy. They are actually very beautiful to look at, but not to swim with!
