On the beach

We are learning to add descriptive words in our writing we are learning to write to make the reader feel a certain way.

  1. Charlie, I am so impressed with this piece of descriptive writing. Because I accompanied you on the beach trip I can really relate to what you have conveyed here. Collecting all the rubbish certainly made me think deeper about the effect that certain house hold items can have on our beautiful West Coast environment as well as the sea and bird life. Thank you for sharing this thought provoking poem Charlie.

  2. Kia Ora Charlie I am Hamish from Karoro School. I really liked how your poem rhymed. It reminds me of the time in room one when I made a poem about the beach. Maybe you could add at the bottom what some of the words actually mean.
