Making a Paper Plane

Hi, today I researched how to make a paper plane. I have made a presentation of the instructions. When you have had a go, let me know how your plane flew, and maybe send me a photo. Smart Blogging.

  1. Wow Charlie and Hamish! This is so cool. I love your method of showing me how to construct an item.

The pictures back up the instructions and really make it clear and simple as to how to build this plane. I wonder what other things you could show how to make using this type of presentation...Maybe a difficult Lego construction...or perhaps how to cook something in the kitchen. You could use this method of presentation for so many things!

Now, going back to paper plane. Did you make one to ensure your instructions worked? It's always good to try out things to ensure that you haven't made a mistake anywhere. I suppose it is almost like proof-reading a story after you have written it to ensure you have not made any spelling or punctuation errors.

Paper planes are also known as paper darts and if you make a really good one in the right conditions they can fly a very long way. I used to make them when I was your age. There are many designs for paper planes. I have another design that I used to make. Ask me me to show you how when you get home.

Keep up the great work. I can't wait to see your next blog entry.

    1. Hi its Charlie here and I want to thank you for commenting on my blog so rapidly I was amazed and every one sitting around me was amazed when they heard that you had already commented on my blog. I liked how you said you would help me make a different design other than the designs I already know.

  2. Hi Charlie. Wow this is so cool! I really like how the instructions are so clear and easy to follow, especially with the great photos that accompany them. Do you know what? this will be SO helpful because often at Kindy or Preschool the children ask me to help them make paper planes. Now I need to practice! What a busy term 2 you have had Charlie. I have really enjoyed reading all of the fabulous work you have uploaded to your blog to share. Love Mum
