My School Kit Poem

Over the past few weeks we have been part of get NZ writing poetry project. This project is aimed to get 96,000 poems written across New Zealand. We were sent a tin with some objects in it and I used two of these objects to write poems. Here are my poems.

  1. Hi Charlie. I really enjoyed reading your Get Nz Writing poems. You definitely used some good 'sticky' words to describe the items from the tin your chose. In your poem about the Chinese coin I liked the words, ' Ancient currency, detailed, delicate.' You also published your poems beautifully. Well done.

  2. Hello again Charlie! I liked the poem about the Chinese coin the best, it was very descriptive and I love the dragon illustration! I particularly liked it because I am going to China soon and it gave me an insight into the culture and what they believe about luck and fortune! From Victoria
