Recently we have been learning about insects and mini beasts as a school topic. We got to choose what insect we were doing for our minibeast writing. I did this information report with my friend Hamish. Go and see it on his blog too. Below is my writing.
Kia ora Charlie and Hamish. I have very much enjoyed reading your very informative article on the life of the Dragonfly. I love how I can continue to increase my knowledge on subjects that your are learning about also. I have learnt many new facts about this insect. It was interesting to read how that the life cycle is similar to that of the frog. Also, to learn that Dragonflies bite!! In the future, I will be sure not to disturb their habitats Another interesting fact presented here is that it is a wild world out there for the Dragonfly with the threat of global warming and the many predators lurking around looking for food. I really like how you have included interesting pictures as well as te reo within your writing. Mahi pai te kapa - good team work guys. Robyn
